TIFTON, Ga. (WALB) - The Tift County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Friday night shooting that left one female juvenile hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. She was the only person injured in the incident.
According to the report, the shooting happened in the 600 block of Short Street in Tifton at around 9:58 p.m.
The report lists a total of nine people involved in the incident. Eight of those nine people were victims, three of which were juveniles. It also lists two weapons involved, a rifle and handgun.
This is an active investigation. As of now, there is no known suspect or motive according to the sheriff’s office.
