ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The lone survivor of a fiery crash in Florida that killed three Forsyth County teens, has made “incredible strides” as she continues to recover in a Florida hospital, according to a GoFundMe update.

Jamison Mobley, a 17-year-old Horizon Christian Academy student, is being treated for a traumatic brain injury and damage to her carotid artery, the family said. As of Sunday, she had come off a ventilator, but she is now facing an infection and a fever, according to the update.

The crash happened in Franklin County, Florida, on April 6. Florida Highway Patrol said the car ran off a shoulder and collided with a tree before catching fire. Jaylyn Fehr, 17; Charlotte Martin, 16; and Jackson Mobley, 18, were killed. All three were Horizon Christian Academy students in Cumming. Jamison Mobley is Jackson Mobley’s sister.

The family said they are praying that she reaches stability so she can be transferred to a more specialized facility closer to home. The update asked for prayers for the infection to be identified quickly, for the fever to break and for her lungs to clear so she can breathe easier.
