Description

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - There was a shooting on the afternoon of April 10 at an Albany convenience store, R&M Groceries, on West Highland Avenue.

The Albany Police Department (APD) confirmed a 28-year-old man was shot, but said his injuries are not life-threatening.

APD said the victim was walking away from the suspect after they had an argument when the suspect shot the victim in the foot.

Officials said they have not identified the suspect or the weapon he used at this time. No further details about the suspect have been released.

The victim was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and treated for his injuries.
