ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The city of Albany has announced that due to a sewer collapse on West 2nd Avenue at the intersection of North Cleveland Street, the road will be closed, effective immediately.
Northbound and southbound lanes on Cleveland Avenue remain open.
Officials say that you should avoid running over any pipes or hoses that may be lying in the roadway.
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling in the area and consider alternate routes.
This closure will remain in effect until repairs are completed.
