ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Former WALB employee and Florida A&M University graduate Pam Oliver has been inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame, marking a major milestone in her distinguished career.
Oliver began her journalism journey at WALB in 1985 as a news reporter before transitioning into sports broadcasting, where she went on to become one of the most respected voices in the industry. Her work paved the way for generations of journalists and helped shape sports coverage on a national level.
