ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Another case of measles has been reported in Georgia, according to the Georgia Department of Health.
The DPH on Sunday confirmed a case of measles in an unvaccinated Bryan County resident. The resident recently traveled out of state, according to the DPH.
This is the second measles case reported in Georgia in 2026. The first case of measles was reported last month in the Costal Health District, which consists of Chatham, Effingham, Glynn and several other counties.
In 2025, there were 10 measles cases in Georgia.
