The Bryan County School District said an individual who has since been diagnosed with measles was at the Bryan County Middle High School on February 13.
The school district said as a result, there is a possibility that individuals who were at school that day may have been exposed.
“The public health department will contact affected families directly with additional information and support,” wrote the school district in a message to parents.
Bryan County Schools said they are working closely with the Coastal Health District to protect the school community.
