PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (WPEC) — A section of South Ocean Boulevard from South County Road to Southern Boulevard will be closed to traffic on Thursday and continue over the weekend, Palm Beach officials announced.

In what has become a regular weekend move, President Trump is expected to return to his Mar-A-Lago estate this weekend, according to officials.

However, the White House also announced that an appearance of President Trump is anticipated in Miami before the Mar-A-Lago visit.

President Trump’s Doral resort will hold a Liv Golf Dinner on Thursday ahead of the Liv Golf tournament being held there this weekend. The president is expected to participate in the dinner, followed by a short flight home to his estate Thursday night, the town announced.

The Federal Aviation Administration has also once again issued temporary flight restrictions earlier this week over Palm Beach County, starting Thursday and ending sometime Sunday evening, further signaling the move.

Officials have not announced when S. Ocean Boulevard will reopen.
