GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – Emergency crews responded to two separate car accidents on Highway 93 South in Grady County on Wednesday, both resulting in non-life-threatening injuries.
According to Kent Harvey with the Grady County Sheriff’s Office, the first crash involved a single vehicle in the 3900 block of Highway 93 South near Blackshear Road.
A vehicle traveling northbound left the roadway after the driver became distracted and lost control, crashing into a ditch. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Archbold Grady Hospital for treatment.

A second crash occurred shortly afterward at the intersection of Highway 93 South and Joyner Road.
The collision involved two vehicles: a red Toyota Corolla and a gray Kia Optima. Investigators say the driver of the Toyota failed to yield while making a left turn from Highway 93 onto Joyner Road and struck the northbound Kia.

The driver of the Kia was taken to Archbold Thomasville with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Toyota was cited for failure to yield while turning left.
