ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - On Friday afternoon, the Albany Fire Department (AFD) was called out to a heavy fire in the 1600 block of Camp Lane.
AFD received a call about the fire at around 5:30 p.m., according to AFD.
AFD told WALB that when crews arrived, they were met with heavy fire and smoke coming from Advanced Sprinkler & Backflow, Inc.
The fire was brought under control in about 40 minutes.
However, fire officials say the fire left “extensive damage” estimated to be about $80,000 to $100,000.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
