Description
MONDAY PM: Mostly cloudy skies will linger for many of us in South Georgia which will help keep temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. Isolated areas can linger into the low 90s. A lot of the tropical moisture that arrived over the weekend has increased humidity levels, making these upper 80s and low 90s feel a lot warmer opposed to the drier heat we had last week.
TUESDAY: You’ll wake up to another muggy morning with lows near the mid 70s. Chances of a few pop up showers cannot be ruled out on your way out the door. Some early afternoon clearing can allow extra sunshine to peek through, which will increase temperatures into the upper 80s and into the mid 90s. Those rain cooled areas can see mid 80s.
WED/THURS: Morning lows staying warm in the low to mid 70s. Expect more sunnier skies which will ramp up afternoon highs into the low 90s. Elevated humidity makes feels-like temps in the mid to upper 90s.
FRI/WEEKEND: Rain chances increase some but for those who do not see rain and experience more sunshine will see low to mid 90s. Feels like temperatures likely will reach the triple digits. It would be good to have an alternative plan for outdoor activities and be prepared by hydrating well throughout the week.
