MACON-BIBB, Ga. (WGXA) — Middle Georgia parents will be able to get free diapers, pull ups and wipes on Saturday during a diaper giveaway.

The Macon-Bibb Economic Opportunity Council is hosting a diaper drive-thru on October 17th, 2025 at 9 A.M. While supplied last, each family will receive 2 free packs of diapers and 1 pack of free wipes.

This is a pilot program through a partnership by Georgia Diaper Distribution Demonstration & Research Pilot (DDDRP) and Georgia Community Action.

The DDDRP designed the diaper giveaway program to address the diaper needs among low-income families, while also connecting them to broader support services that promote health, well-being, and economic mobility.

Sarita Hill and Nequana Stevens both with the MBEOC says this is the first time they're hosting the event and hope they can help save families money.

"This Saturday is going to be our grand where we want to serve as many as we can, hopefully 400. Diapers are high... Everything is high, so hopefully if they come out and receive the diapers then they can use those funds to do something else," said Hill and Stevens.

The diaper drive-through will be located at 456 Bay St Macon, GA 31201.
