SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Election day is less than a month away and Monday is last day for Georgia voters to register before they can cast their ballots this November.

If you live in Georgia and want to vote in this year’s municipal races, today is your last chance to make sure your voice is heard.

The general municipal election will be held on Nov. 4 for both Georgia and South Carolina voters.

The main deadline for Lowcountry residents to register has already passed. However, if you want to mail in a registration form, you have until the end of Monday to do so.

In Georgia, Monday is the last day to register either online or by mail.

You must be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen and a legal resident of Georgia to vote in the municipal races, as well as in the special election runoff for Public Service Commissioner.

The mail-in form can be found online and you will need your driver’s license on hand if you want to register online instead
