DAWSON, Ga. (WALB) -A heroic rescue was caught on camera as an officer with the Dawson Police Department rescued a kitten that had gotten stuck under a car.
On Thursday, June 5, the Dawson police officers were called to the local McDonald’s to help a driver who found a six-week-old kitten wedged next to their car’s engine.
Officer Wilson and a McDonald’s employee responded and were able to rescue the kitten.
The Dawson Police Department says the kitten was returned to its owner, and Officer Wilson was rewarded for his heroic efforts afterwards with a sweet tea.
