Description

CRISP COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - A 76-year-old man in Cordele was found dead on June 9 near a truck that was “fully engulfed in flames,” the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said.

The sheriff’s office said they and Crisp County Fire Rescue responded to reports of a vehicle fire at about 10:30 p.m. near Exa Avenue. When they arrived at the scene, the truck had already gone completely up in flames, CCSO said.

The man was identified as Larry Wayne Coleman. CCSO said his family has been notified.

Officials said the incident is under investigation but that no foul play is suspected.

No further details have been released at this time, but the sheriff’s office did share this photo of the scene:
