Description

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — An ice storm has led to more than 40,000 power outages in north Georgia on Sunday morning. Most of those are in the far northeast part of the state.

Crews from across the Southeast have descended on the state to assist with restoring any outages that may come.

Grateful for the linemen stationed across North Georgia ready to assist as the ice continues to form on power lines and trees. Thank you for what you all are doing to help Georgians stay warm and safe! https://t.co/2aDqChGLge
