ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — A three-car wreck occurred on Tuesday, June 16, when an Albany patrol car failed to yield, according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP).
GSP said the Albany police officer responded to a call at a home on the south side of W. Gordon Ave.
The report states that as the officer went to back out of the residence, the patrol car hit a vehicle traveling eastbound on W. Gordon.
The impact caused the car the officer struck to collide with a third vehicle.
