SOUTH GEORGIA (WALB) – The 37th Annual Georgia Peanut Tour will be held September 16–18, 2025, with Valdosta serving as the host city. The three-day event will travel across several South Georgia communities, including Quitman, Adel, Douglas, Fitzgerald, and Tifton.

The Georgia Peanut Tour provides attendees with the latest information on peanut research, production, and industry developments while offering a unique, first-hand view of the entire peanut process — from planting and harvesting to handling, processing, and utilization.

Tour stops will highlight the vital role peanuts play in Georgia’s economy, with visits to farms, research facilities, and processing plants in key peanut-producing counties.

The event is coordinated by the Georgia Peanut Commission, the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, and the USDA-ARS National Peanut Laboratory.
