BERRIEN COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — Two Ray City residents have been arrested following a child molestation investigation in Berrien County, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Kenneth Duane Brewer, 57, is charged with two counts of child molestation, grooming of a minor, rape, aggravated sodomy, improper sexual contact by a person in a position of trust and distribution of a controlled substance, the GBI said.

Kelley Brewer, 43, is charged with one count of second-degree cruelty to children.

According to the GBI, the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office requested an investigation Oct. 7 after allegations that Kenneth Brewer had inappropriate contact with a child.

Both were arrested Oct. 15 and booked into the Berrien County Jail.
