QUITMAN, Ga. (WALB) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is asking for the public’s help in an ongoing death investigation involving a Quitman woman.
Authorities are investigating the death of 31-year-old Tamesha “Mesha” Bartee, who was found deceased inside a vehicle on Monday, March 9, in the 1000 block of North Jefferson Street in Quitman.

The GBI Thomasville Regional Office and the Quitman Police Department (QPD) are working jointly on the case.
Officials have not released additional details surrounding the circumstances of her death but say the investigation remains active.
