AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) - One man is wanted for aggravated assault by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation following a shooting that happened in Americus.

According to GBI, on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at around 2:00 a.m., officers responded to a home on Oak Avenue, where a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

During the investigation, one suspect was identified, Joseph Quantez “Quan” Sales, 31, of Americus, is wanted on two counts of aggravated assault.

This investigation is active and ongoing.
