Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Wrapping up summer and entering fall with little fanfare. Rain free and warm as highs top upper 80s low 90s. Fall arrives @ 8:44am on Sunday with only a hint of the new season mid-upper 60s. Sunny and a bit toasty through the afternoon. Rather enjoyable through the weekend.
The extended dry spell continues through midweek as all eyes are on the Gulf. Odds increased Friday evening to 60% that a tropical system develops between the western Caribbean and the Gulf by midweek. Continue to check for updates and be prepared as all areas along the Gulf will be in the realm of potential impacts.
Late week, Thursday and Friday, showers are likely with cooler low-mid 80s.
