GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — A fatal, single-vehicle crash on March 5 has closed a road in Grady County, the Grady County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) announced at about 8:45 p.m. Thursday.

Further details about the crash or the fatality have not been released. GCSO said Old Thomasville Road is closed between Bold Springs Road and Pierce Chapel Road.

The sheriff’s office encouraged drivers to use alternate routes if possible.

Officials said an update will be provided as soon as the road is reopened. GCSO said that the Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident.
