ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The Atlanta Falcons are continuing to shift their front office following the conclusion of the 2025 season.
On Monday, owner Arthur Blank announced in a letter that Rich McKay will no longer serve as president and CEO of the team, elevating team president Greg Beadles to the position. McKay is expected to take a larger role across the Arthur M. Blank Sports and Entertainment (AMBSE) organization.
McKay has been the AMBSE CEO for four years, with oversight of the Atlanta United MLS franchise and NWSL Atlanta.
The announcement comes after head coach Raheem Morris and general manager Terry Fontenot were fired Sunday night after finishing the season with an 8-9 record and missing the postseason.

Blank also announced the addition of a new president of football position for the franchise. He said the person in the position “will set the vision and identity” for the team, as the new head coach and general manager will report to them.
The Atlanta Falcons are set to hold a news conference on Thursday. Former Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has been reported to be in conversations with the team about a significant front office role.
