ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - October was greeted with an overcast that thinned for afternoon sunshine on Tuesday. Still a bit toasty as highs topped low-upper 80s.
More sunshine and warm 80s on Wednesday and Thursday. As a cold front slides into the region late week look for increasing clouds and rain chances on Friday. Mostly dry Saturday then isolated showers become scattered late Sunday into early Monday.
Drying out with plenty of sunshine and cooler highs upper 70s around 80 and lows in the 60s even a few 50s next week.
In the tropics, watching an area of disturbed weather in the western Caribbean that has a medium 40% chance of developing over the next 7 days. Forecast models are suggesting that if there’s development it’s likely a front will keep the system away from SGA. That’s just one possibility for now. Once a system develops we’ll have an idea of where it may head. For now we’re watching.
