CORDELE, Ga. (WALB) - The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office is warning students to practice safe driving ahead of this weekend’s prom festivities.

The sheriff’s office is asking students to make a plan, stay with their friends, and call their parents or a trusted adult if they need help.

The sheriff’s office is asking parents to stay on top of their children and check their locations.

Deputies will be out across the county making sure everyone gets home safely, according to the sheriff’s office.
