CORDELE, Ga. (WALB) - The Cordele Police Department announced a major change coming to their police force.

Friday, Sept. 12, was Chief Jalon Heard’s last day with the police department. The CPD announced on Facebook that he will be joining the Georgia Prosecuting Attorney General’s Office.
