BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WALB) - Bainbridge Public Safety (BPS) announced May 1 that there will be a controlled flame blazing on May 5 and 6.
The city said Global Partners LP Gas Terminal plans to flame their butane tank for those two days. During the process, BPS said they expect there to be a large flame in the air. They are assuring community members that this flame is controlled.
The butane tank is located at 1803 East Shotwell Street, according to BPS.
BPS asked residents not to call E-911 to report the fire on those dates.
