Description
DOUGLAS, Ga. (WALB) — Coffee County is continuing to monitor floodwaters that forced the closure of a major roadway.

The Georgia Department of Transportation closed the 17 Mile River Bridge on the 206 Connector between Highways 221 and 441, according to Coffee County Emergency Management Agency.
Officials are urging drivers to use an alternate route when traveling through the area, and warning them not to drive in flooded areas.
