Shortly after WALB arrived on scene, the flames were mostly knocked down, and rain may have helped crews finish putting out hot spots. The Albany Fire Department and law enforcement remained at the scene as crews worked to determine what sparked the fire.

Officials have not released information on what caused the fire, whether anyone was inside at the time, or whether there were any injuries.
