ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Atlanta Braves series finale against the Marlins is going to have to wait.
Sunday’s game was postponed to August due to severe weather in the metro Atlanta area.
Their Triple-A affiliate, the Gwinnett Stripers, also postponed their game.
Today’s game against the Miami Marlins has been postponed due to inclement weather. This game has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 9th at 1:15 PM ET as part of a split doubleheader. Gates will open at 11:30 AM ET for the 1:15 PM ET game.

The Braves will play a split doubleheader on Aug. 9 starting at 1:15 p.m. Tickets for Sunday’s postponed game will work for the August game.
The Stripers will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on May 1.
Update: unfortunately, Chopper got TKO'd...Today's game has been postponed due to impending inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader at Coolray Field on Thursday, May 1. Tickets for today's game will be valid for the 5:05pm game on May 1st.
