BEN HILL COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Ben Hill County woman wanted on several felony warrants related to a deadly hit-and-run has been arrested.

According to a Facebook post, Abbiegale Ruth Roberts, 22, was taken into custody on Tuesday morning by Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office deputy and Special operations Personnel without incident.

On Jan. 27, WALB reported that Roberts was wanted on felony warrants for the wanted charges:

• Homicide by vehicle in the first degree
• Driving under the influence
• Reckless driving
• Driving without a license

“Community members recognized the importance of getting Roberts into custody and we are grateful for all the calls and teamwork that made this possible,” the post said.
