ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Local teenagers looking to stay active this summer can take advantage of a free fitness opportunity through Planet Fitness.
The gym’s High School Summer Pass program allows teens ages 14 to 19 to work out for free at participating Planet Fitness locations through Aug. 31.
To help families learn more about the program, Planet Fitness is hosting an open house from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at its Albany-area locations. Teens and their parents will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet staff members, and sign up for the free summer membership.
The annual program is designed to encourage healthy habits, physical activity, and overall wellness while students are out of school for the summer.
Parents or guardians are encouraged to attend the open house with their teens to learn more about membership requirements and available fitness resources.
Registration for the High School Summer Pass program is available online and remains open throughout the summer.
For more information or to sign up, visit the Planet Fitness High School Summer Pass website.
