ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Albany State University (ASU) is opening its doors this summer to middle and high school students for a series of free enrichment camps designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and expose youth to future career paths.
Programs range from STEM and health sciences to music, arts, and literacy, offering hands-on learning in a safe, engaging environment.
One of the highlights, the Albany State Youth Enrichment Program (ASYEP), will hold an in-person registration on Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the East Campus HPER Complex, Room 242. ASYEP serves youth ages 7–14 with physical activities, academic enrichment, and life skills training.
Other featured camps include the ARTEMIS STEM Scholars Program, the Summer Health Sciences & STEM Academy, and the ASU Summer Music and Arts Camp.
Students from Albany and nearby communities are encouraged to participate and explore college life early. For program details and registration, visit ASU’s website.
