ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Albany Museum of Art has opened registration for both its Spring Break and Summer Camps planned for this year.
Annie Van Oteghem, director of education and public programming at AMA, said activities planned offer entertainment while providing a variety of learning opportunities.

The learning activities will reinforce STEAM skills (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) that children learn in classrooms.
“When kids have a break off from school, we like to provide camp, but it’s not just daycare,” said Van Oteghem. “The kids are continuing to learn, take the skills that they learn in the classroom, just using them here with their friends in a space they might not expect to use it.”
AMA’s Spring Break Camp runs March 30 – April 3, 2026. This year’s camp theme is “Art in Full Bloom.”
The spring break camp’s date coincides with the school system’s spring break week for Dougherty and several surrounding counties, Van Oteghem said.
The spring break camp is for grades K-7.
However, AMA also recently unveiled its full summer camps schedule. Summer camps will provide opportunities for children ages 2-18.
AMA is also looking for volunteers to help with the camps.
