Description
ACROSS GEORGIA (WALB) - Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper announced Friday, March 13, that Georgia Ag Week will be celebrated March 23-29.
This celebration is statewide and recognizes Georgia’s #1 industry. Harper said it honors the farmers, ranchers, foresters and producers who drive the state’s economy and sustain communities in every corner of Georgia.
Harper shared a statement in his announcement:
“Georgia agriculture is more than an industry — it’s the backbone of our state’s economy, the bridge that connects Urban and Rural Georgia together as one, and, for our state’s farm families, it is our way of life."
