ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A cold front drops temperatures into the 40s this Valentine’s Day morning. Sunny skies are likely today with highs in the 60s before more clouds move in this evening. A few isolated showers are possible overnight as temperatures dip into the 50s.

The weekend is cloudy and warm with highs in the 70s. However, a cold front on Sunday will drop temperatures into the next work week. This front will also feature strong to severe storms with damaging winds and an isolated tornado threat. Storms will move in by 6 AM and continue until 3 PM Sunday. Rainfall will reach up to 2″ in a few areas.

Winter is back! Temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s for highs and 30s and 40s for lows by the next work week. We are dry on Monday and Tuesday before more rainfall on Wednesday.
