LEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - A South Georgia School system has made the top five in the College and Career Readiness Performance Index (CCRPI).

On Thursday, Lee County Schools announced in a Facebook post that they have ranked third in the state of Georgia on the CCRPI.

The CCRPI is Georgia’s annual tool for measuring how well schools, districts and the state itself are preparing students for next-level education, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

The other schools that made the top five include Pierce County, Oconee County, Glynn County and Bryan County.
