ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The season of giving is here, and WALB is kicking off its 6th Annual Days of Giving Food Drive, working to fight hunger and support families across South Georgia right now.

Over the previous years, the partnership between WALB and Feeding the Valley Food Bank has helped provide more than 250,000 meals to the community. Now, the goal is to continue that momentum and reach even more families in need.

📍 When & Where

• December 3rd and 4th from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the front lawn of WALB News 10, located at 1709 Stuart Ave., Albany, GA 31707.

Participants can drop off non-perishable food items or make a donation on-site. Every can, box, and dollar collected goes directly toward helping local families put food on their tables.

This drive isn’t just about collecting food! It’s about coming together as a community. By partnering once again with Feeding the Valley Food Bank, WALB hopes to remind families that support is close to home, especially during the holidays.
