VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) — Three firefighters were treated at South Georgia Medical Center (SGMC) after a Valdosta Fire Department (VFD) Engine was involved in a crash that occurred Thursday, Jan. 1 at about 8:25 a.m.
All three firefighters have been treated and released, VFD announced at about noon Thursday.
Fire personnel were reportedly responding to a possible structure fire at a medical facility Thursday morning when an Engine crashed near the intersection of Gornto Road and North Oak Street. The accident was a single-vehicle crash, VFD said.
The three firefighters were transported to SGMC Health for minor injuries, according to the fire department.
