COFFEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, on the east perimeter in Douglas, according to the Douglas Now.

The accident reportedly happened at the intersection of Perimeter Road and Highway 158 East.

Officials said that a silver Audi A6 and a white Jeep Grand Cherokee collided “almost head-on.”

The Audi is said to have sustained significant damage. The Jeep reportedly rolled into a ditch and hit a fence near Vickers Audio.

Multiple injuries were reported, and those who were injured were reportedly taken to Coffee Regional Medical Center for treatment.
