THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Thomas County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) and the Thomasville Police Department (TPD) announced they arrested a man on March 23 for the possession of drugs.

Arkeil Robert Hagood was arrested for outstanding warrants. He was then found to be in possession of several pounds of marijuana and a loaded firearm, according to the police department.

Hagood was charged with:

• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
• Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
• Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

A second man, Reginald Dewayne Williams, was arrested at the same time for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
