COFFEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — Several individuals were indicted by Georgia’s Attorney General Chris Carr following a Dec., 13, 2025, series of assaults at Coffee Correctional Facility (CFF), the AG’s office announced Monday, June 26.
The AG’s Gang Prosecution Unit indicted 16 people, all of whom were in custody at CFF and were members of the Bloods criminal street gang at the time of the incident, according to a press release. Evidence was reportedly presented to a Coffee County Grand Jury on June 18.
The indictment alleges that the 16 individuals stabbed and assaulted multiple other inmates of the facility. The victims reportedly sustained critical injuries and were transported out of CFF to receive life-saving medical care.
The AG listed the 16 defendants, their ages and the charges they each face. That information is as follows:
Immanuel Scott, 19:

The Dec. 13, 2025, incident was reportedly investigated by the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC).
“Identifying and managing those participating in gang activity from behind the walls of our facilities is paramount in our commitment to public safety,” said GDC Commissioner Tyrone Oliver. “Any criminal activity perpetrated inside of our facilities will not be tolerated, and we are grateful to our state and federal partners for their assistance in bringing this case to a close.”
