ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A 14-year-old has been arrested in the shooting deaths of two teens in South Fulton, police said.
Keyshawn Hughes, 14, was arrested Sunday in connection with the deaths of 14-year-old Jeremiah Carter and 16-year-old J’Mauri Smarr. Police said the teens were shot March 17 in a residential subdivision.
Hughes was taken into custody without incident during a traffic stop Sunday, police said.
He faces two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of felony murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a person under 18. Police said he will be charged as an adult.
