ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is planning to have a “weekend takeover” of Atlanta just before the 2025 MLB All-Star Game.
On Tuesday, WWE announced a multi-event weekend on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13, featuring three major events.
As part of the lineup, State Farm Arena will host the NBC primetime special “Saturday Night’s Main Event” on July 12 and “Evolution,” WWE’s all-women’s Premium Live Event (PLE), on Sunday.
This year’s “Evolution” PLE is only the second iteration of the event since its debut in 2018.
Also on July 12, “WWE NXT: The Great American Bash” will take place from Center Stage Theater — the former home of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) Saturday Night — before “Saturday Night’s Main Event.”
Two-day combo ticket packages for “Saturday Night’s Main Event” and “Evolution” will go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET on Ticketmaster.com.
Information about individual tickets to the three shows will be announced at a later date, according to WWE.
Official “Saturday Night’s Main Event” and “Evolution” Priority Passes are available now through On Location, WWE’s exclusive partner that lets fans buy ticket packages before they go on sale to the general public.
WWE says the passes offer fans the chance to be ringside, “including premium seating, all-inclusive pre-show hospitality featuring WWE Superstars appearances,” and more.
“Saturday Night’s Main Event” will air live coast-to-coast on NBC at 8 p.m. ET Saturday and simulcast on Peacock.
