Description
HOMERVILLE, Ga. (WALB) - Residents in several Homerville neighborhoods will experience a temporary water outage Thursday morning as crews relocate a water main.
City officials said water service will be shut off from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Aug. 6, to allow for the relocation work.
The outage will affect the following areas:
- Woodlake
- King Subdivision
- Shannon Subdivision
Officials encourage residents in the affected neighborhoods to plan ahead and make any necessary preparations before the scheduled outage begins.
The city apologized for the inconvenience and asks residents to share the information with neighbors to help ensure everyone is aware of the temporary interruption in service.
