AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) – The Americus Police Department (APD) has confirmed the arrest of 20-year-old Kentravious Lemond Holmes.
Holmes was wanted in connection with the death of 21-year-old Amon Kevone Harvey, of Americus. According to police, Holmes allegedly shot and killed Harvey on Wednesday, April 16, at a home on the 100 block of Glory Court.
APD reports that Holmes was located by officers on Saturday, May 3, at around 9:30 p.m. at a residence on Cherokee Street. He was taken into custody without incident.
Following his arrest, Holmes was transported to the Sumter County Jail.
