VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - One man is now facing felony charges after Valdosta police find approximately 52 grams of cocaine during investigation.
On Thursday, Jan. 16, detectives with the Valdosta Police Department Narcotics Unit investigated complaints of possible narcotics sales at an apartment in the 1100 block of North Oak Street.
While talking with the residents at the apartment, David London, 43, was found to have an active federal arrest warrant through the United States Marshal’s Service.
Officers with VPD took London into custody. During their investigation, detectives located approximately 52 grams of cocaine, along with tools that are indicative of narcotic sales.
London was transported to Lowndes County Jail. Along with the active arrest warrant, London is also facing additional charges of:
- Trafficking in cocaine -felony
- Tampering with evidence -felony
- Possession of drug-related items -misdemeanor
