VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - A vacant duplex on East Magnolia Street was significantly damaged in a fire early Sunday morning.
The Valdosta Fire Department responded to a call at around 3:16 a.m. reporting a structure fire at 410 E. Magnolia St.
According to VFD, first responders arrived within four minutes to find smoke and flames emanating from the single-story building. Twenty-one firefighters worked quickly to bring the blaze under control. A thorough search of the premises confirmed that the duplex was vacant at the time of the fire, resulting in no injuries.
The cause of the fire has been determined to be accidental.
