Both men have been charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, a felony.

Grady County Sheriff Martin “Earl” Prince said the sheriff’s office remains committed to targeting illegal drug activity while also encouraging those struggling with addiction to seek help.

“Our message is simple: those who choose to traffic illegal drugs in Grady County should expect to be held accountable. We will continue working every day to remove dangerous narcotics from our neighborhoods and keep our families safe,” Prince said.

Prince also encouraged anyone battling addiction to seek assistance.

“Addiction is a challenge that can be overcome with the right support, and we encourage anyone who needs help to reach out. We are committed not only to enforcing the law but also to connecting people with resources that can help them build a better future,” he said.

The sheriff also urged residents to celebrate the Independence Day holiday responsibly and thanked deputies, investigators and the community for their continued support.
